Students will pay their normal (in-state or out-of-state) tuition. There is only one Gateway housing fee charged for the spring semester; students do not pay an additional housing fee for Fairfax campus housing.
Financial Aid can be used for the Global Gateway program. In addition, students will receive a scholarship for this program (FAFSA required).
A FAFSA form MUST be completed in order to receive the Global Gateway Scholarship.

Mason ScholarshipsAll federal financial aid will be eligible for use with this program. Students are encouraged to speak with their financial aid counselor regarding the details of their specific financial aid package and how it can be applied to the Global Gateway program.

If you have been accepted to Mason as a student using benefits from Veterans Affairs, you will need to have another source of funding to pay for your semester abroad with Global Gateway. The VA does not authorize the use of their benefits to pay for study abroad through Global Gateway, with the exception of Mason Korea.
