How to Apply

Once you create a profile and begin your application, additional instructions and required items will be made available to you in the application portal. After you have been enrolled into your study abroad program you will receive an acceptance notification with information on post-acceptance materials that must be submitted to organize your experience and guarantee your place in the program.

Before you Begin

Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements of the program you're interested in. Many GEO programs are open to Mason students, staff, faculty, and alumni, as well as students from other colleges or universities and the general public.

Will my study abroad credits transfer?

All course work will transfer back to Mason but only courses taught by Mason faculty will affect your GPA.
