Build Your Own Internship in India
As part of my build-your-own-internship, I did a summer internship at Rise Consultancy, a firm that helps students find further education possibilities overseas. The fact that the firm was owned by my family made this internship stand out. With this chance, I was able to learn more about a dynamic job that combined web development and digital marketing.
Running advertising campaigns to promote educational options was my main task. As a result, my boss and I had to work closely together to make sure that our marketing plans complemented the organization's goals and targeted the correct demographic. I also started working on the company's website, delving into the realm of web development, at the same time.
Working together with a colleague named Ravi, who specialized in web design, we developed the website into a user-friendly platform that connected students with essential educational materials. Troubleshooting ineffective advertising efforts, which required critical thinking, data analysis, and teamwork to enhance ideas, was one of the challenges.
The most important lesson was the value of good cooperation, which was demonstrated via working with Ravi and other coworkers. This underlined the need of a team's different abilities, efficient communication, and mutual respect. To summarize, the internship at Rise Consultancy was transformative, boosting technical abilities, improving communication and cooperation, and sparking an interest in business and education. It was the start of my international career path, establishing a sense of preparedness for future endeavors.
