George Mason University is pleased to welcome international participants to the Washington Summer Institute (WSI).
Please note that while the university cannot sponsor F or J visas for this program, individuals may be eligible to attend under various other travel authorizations, including B visas and the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Participants currently residing in the US under F, J, H, or other visa statuses are encouraged to contact us, wsi@gmu.edu, prior to registering for the program to ensure compliance with their visa regulations.
To assist with your application for a visa or travel authorization, the university will provide a letter of invitation for all admitted WSI participants. This letter can be presented during your US Consulate interview or used as supporting documentation for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
