Must be a current international or U.S. student (undergraduate or graduate students) participating in a Mason study abroad program.
Photos must be your original work. Digitally altered, black/white, sepia, duotone, and panoramic photos will not be accepted. Submit all photos electronically in JPEG format. Winning photos will be enlarged, so please consider the resolution and ratio of your photo. Each photo must be accompanied by a short description of the event, situation, and location. You may enter only one photo per category and the photo must have been taken in 2016 or 2017 or 2018.

Photos will be judged by a jury on subject matter, composition, technical quality, creativity, and originality. Winners will be notified prior to the GEO spring study abroad fair.
Each category above will offer awards to be dispensed during the GEO spring study abroad fair on February 14, 2018.
You hereby grant and authorize the Global Education Office at George Mason University (GEO) the right to copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video submitted in this form to be used in and/or for legally promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising publications, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment. GEO also reserves the right to use your name and home country when giving credit to the photographer. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats and markets known or hereafter devised. This authorization can be revoked in writing.
